The Morning Coffee Painting series started in 2019 as a self-prescribed therapeutic painting practice. The concept was simple, wake up, make a cup of coffee, sit down with a blank slate, make a painting in a single sitting. 6 years in and 700 paintings down, it's still an invaluable part of my practice and a way to build my technique, concepts, and visual language.
